Hello, I just had some problems and I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm pretty solitary and don't have anyone to go to when a problem arises.

On the blue moon of new years I did a special ritual. At the time there was a friend I'd been slowly drifting away from. I really liked this person and I wanted to be close like I was so close to being at one point. I should have seen that no matter how much you wish and dance under any moon, two people that don't work just won't. I asked a for bond, a strong one. I asked to get closer and I asked that the bond not be broken by means of fights and differed opinions. It's strong and I'm not sure how to break it... With us is always a conflict, always sadness because for some reason we can't break apart. They don't know that I casted a spell and I'd forgotten it 'till now. I feel like such a fool... I'm just a kid. I had no right to cast something so powerful. At the moment the ritual ended I felt I'd regret it sooner than later. It worked instantly and we had the night of our lives... We became so much closer. Closer isn't always better... I feel like I'm a positive magnet glued to the positive end of another one. I just want to know what I have to do to end this... I've seperated myself mentally, physically, socially, and my feelings aren't what they used to be. I'm 99% sure it's because of the ritual I did that I can't stop wanting to be happy with them and that I have no choice but attempt to make things work. My mind and my heart know better... something in me disagrees.

I ask that you help me because I just don't want to feel the way I do. I can't get them out of my thoughts when I know they shouldn't be there... can you please help me come up with some sort of ritual? I tried some of my own and they worked for a short time... but now they don't help at all. I can't even concentrate long enough to celebrate moon phases. It's taking over my being. This has gone on long enough.

I think Hadesmuse is right. You need to shift your focus to other things. Links that are not fed will fade. You will find that time is a great mender. This can be a great learning experience for you in the long run, though I see that for now it is both difficult and painful. Know that you will get through it, and be both stronger and wiser for the experience.

I agree with the advice you have received so far. Redirect your focus on to other things. Stop trying to forget because the harder you try the harder you reexperience the pain and memories you wish would go away.

Don't feel like a fool for you are learning from this experience. Experiences are stepping stones that helps us along our path and makes us that much wiser.
